We Believe

We believe in a spiritual reality as well as the physical reality.  We believe that one God, who is above all gods, created everything, seen and unseen.  We believe God choses to interact with His creation, appearing in one of three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God came into His creation in the person of His Son, Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin Mary.  In His adult years He introduced the Kingdom of God and demonstrated the power of God to overcome disease, hunger, and death.  He was later crucified, died and was buried.  On the third day He was raised from the dead by God, appeared to some 500 of His disciples and then ascended into Heaven where His is seated at the right hand of God the Father.  

After the Resurrection of Christ from the dead, God returned to His creation in the person of the Holy Spirit and continues to teach, heal and interact with people, continually introducing the Kingdom of God into a world of darkness.  

We believe the shed blood of the risen Lord Jesus Christ cleanses all human beings from all wrongdoing in the sight of God.  To receive the fullness of this cleansing, all we need do is confess Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead.  This is God's incredible gift of eternal life to all people.  The question throughout the ages is: "How many will accept His gift?".
